Amendment to our constitution

The Secular Third Order (SFO), now known as the Secular Franciscan Order, is part of local fraternities. Its members may wear religious habits, take religious vows, and do not live in community, but meet regularly in communion. They may be married, single, or members of the clergy. These fraternities were reorganized and renamed in 1978, with the approval of Pope Paul VI.

The grantee, Eric Michel Ministries International, has received a charter for an ecclesial community, formally documenting the grantee's ecclesiastical affiliation with the granting Order of Franciscans of the Eucharist. Lenten weekday, Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
