Creed

I do not understand having a page explaining your beliefs; just saying who you are regarding faith says it all. We have a Catholic website. You know what our beliefs are. But for the ones who still request it:

The Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed

I believe in One God,
the Father Almighty,
Maker of Heaven and Earth,
and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Son of God,
the Only-Begotten, begotten of the Father before all ages;
Light of Light;
True God of True God;
begotten, not made;
of one essence with the Father,
by Whom all things were made;
Who for us men and for our salvation
came down from Heaven,
and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
And He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate,
and suffered, and was buried.
And the third day He arose again,
according to the Scriptures,
and ascended into Heaven,
and sits at the right hand of the Father;
and He shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead;
Whose Kingdom shall have no end.
And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of Life,
Who proceeds from the Father;
Who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified;
Who spoke by the prophets.
And in One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.
I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins.
I look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.

Father,
hallowed be your name,
Your kingdom come.
Give us each day our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
For we also forgive everyone who sins against us.
And lead us not into temptation.

I believe in God the Father almighty, Maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary,
who suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried,
descended into hell, rose again from the dead on the third day,
ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty,
who will come again
to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

Je crois en Dieu, le Père tout-puissant, Créateur du ciel et de la terre,
et en Jésus-Christ, son Fils unique, notre Seigneur
qui a été conçu du Saint-Esprit, est né de la Vierge Marie ;
a souffert sous Ponce Pilate, a été crucifié, est mort, a été enseveli, est descendu aux enfers ;
le troisième jour, est ressuscité des morts ;
est monté aux cieux,

est assis à la droite de Dieu, le Père tout-puissant ;
d’où Il viendra juger les vivants et les morts.
Je crois en l’Esprit-Saint (variante : au Saint-Esprit)

à la sainte Église catholique,
la communion des saints,
la rémission des péchés,
la résurrection de la chair
la vie éternelle.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Je vous salue Marie, pleine de grâce ;
Amen.

“To Jesus through Mary” is a phrase that expresses the idea that devotion to Mary is the most effective way to consecrate oneself to Jesus

Origin
The phrase is often attributed to Louis Grignion de Montfort, who presented it in his work True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin. However, the idea of going through Mary to Jesus is much older, with other authors promoting it as early as the 7th century.

The Archbishop Eric Michel is consecrated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Consecration took place during an online Solemn Mass by the Heralds of the Gospel, based on Saint Louis de Montfort’s teachings, using the book “True Devotion to Mary” as part of 33 weeks of studies and prayers.

We believe in

  • The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God given to men; it is the final authority in every area of life.
  • There is one God eternally existent in three Persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  • The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth, His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary and atoning death, in His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His Ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His return in power and glory.
  • Receiving Jesus Christ as one’s personal Lord and Saviour is the only way for the salvation of the lost and sinful man.
  • In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, those who are saved to the resurrection of life with the Lord, and they who are lost to the resurrection of damnation.

For all Christians:

  1. God exists.
  2. God alone possesses aseity.
  3. God is one.
  4. God is infinite.
  5. God is eternal.
  6. God is immutable.
  7. God is straightforward.
  8. God is immense.
  9. God is omnipresent.
  10. God is omniscient.
  11. God is omnibenevolent.
  12. God is the creator.
  13. God is a preserver.
  14. God is a provider
  15. THERE IS ONE BODY AND ONE SPIRIT
  16. ONE HOPE
  17. ONE FAITH
  18. ONE BAPTISM
  19. ONE GOD AND FATHER OF ALL, WHO IS OVER ALL AND THROUGH ALL AND IN ALL”. EPHESIANS 4:4-6
  • God is an all-powerful, omnipotent.
  • Omniscient God knows everything, and His knowledge is complete
  • God’s holiness is manifested in His righteousness
  • God’s sovereignty is how he rules his creation.
  • Impassible God is without passions; he is not overwhelmed by any emotion
  • A self-sufficient God does not need anything that we humans need to survive

DO YOU need help from any other gods ???

Jesus was NOT part of any of these churches: Anglican, Baptist, Charismatic, Lutheran, Methodist, Pentecostal, Presbyterian, etc.

A surprising statement for many is “Jesus was not a Christian.”

The Interdenominational Assembly of Churches Association Ministry is an association of Christian churches of different denominations. By definition of our organization, we must use the Ecumenical creeds, which is an umbrella term used in the Western Church to refer to the Nicene Creed, the Apostles’ Creed and, less commonly, the Athanasian Creed. The ecumenical creeds are also known as the universal creeds. These creeds are accepted by almost all mainstream Christian denominations in the West, including Reformed churches, the Roman Catholic Church, Anglican churches and Lutheran churches. Many Methodist churches accept the Nicene Creed and Apostles’ Creed.

The Eastern Orthodox Church accepts the Nicene Creed but does not use the Apostles’ Creed or the Athanasian Creed.

A creed, by definition, is a summary or statement of what one believes. It originates from the Latin credo, meaning “I believe”. The purpose of a creed is to act as a yardstick of correct belief. A creed is an epitome, not a complete definition, of what is required for orthodoxy. It was hoped that by memorizing this summary of the faith, lay people without extensive theological training would still be able to recognize deviations from orthodox doctrines based on the Bible as interpreted in the Christian tradition. The term ecumenical can refer to efforts by Christians of different church traditions to develop closer relationships and better understandings. The term is also often used to refer to efforts towards the visible and organic unity of different Christian churches in some form.
