Religious Constitution of the EMMI New Life Catholic Ministry
Apostolic Succession
The EMMI defines Apostolic Succession in a firm belief in the Apostolic Faith. You can have a broken line of Bishops and still be in Apostolic Succession. The line of Bishop holding Jesus of Nazareth, James The Just, Simon-Peter as our Holy Fathers in our faith and belief.
This Constitution provides the framework within which EMMI, to governs itself with the help of The Board of Elders Advisers and Accountability. The Constitution sets forth the fundamental rights and corresponding responsibilities of members and the basic structure for decision-making and action within the EMMI. All laws, regulations and customs of EMMI shall be carried out within this Constitution’s framework and spirit.
Canadian, Provincial, Municipal Laws and By-Laws Civil Laws have precedence over all Canon Laws, and this is valid for all ministries.
The actual name Eric Michel Ministries International a religious corporation appeared in the middle of 2012 with the arriving in our congregation of the Rev Marie Yvonne on April 28th, which became our Co-Founder a few months after.
Both Founders are Ministers, Co-ordained by Open Door – Open Faith Church a Broken Arrow Indian Community Church, in Oklahoma, USA.
The EMMI use Archbishop who is the equivalent of Bishop President in some denominations of Christianity.

Governance Principles
- All persons were created equal before God. The EMMI shall not discriminate against anyone except on the basis of character, qualifications or merit.
- The EMMI believes that separation of church and state is an important principle. Thus the EMMI will not engage in political, policy or lobbying activity and make no political, policy or lobbying declarations except in narrow instances where a government is directly affecting religious practice.
- We have the right to call or ordain any person choose to the ministry based on the Canon Law. The duties and responsibilities of the clergy shall be determined by each ministry. The EMMI shall maintain a list of all ordained clergy.
- Ministers shall have the right to associate with African United Methodist by using the EMMI name as part of his or her title or otherwise once called or ordained unless that right is specifically revoked by the Board of the EMMI. The only grounds for revoking this right of association are actions or statements inconsistent with the statement of religious principles of the EMMI or actions or statements inconsistent with the EMMI governance principles.

Membership
The corporation is authorized to establish Class A members and Class B members as follows:
The Class A members shall be entitled to receive notice of and to attend all meetings of the members of the Corporation and each Class A member shall have one (1) vote at each such meeting, except for meetings at which only members of another class are entitled to vote separately as a class.
The Class B members shall not be entitled to receive notice of, attend or vote at meetings of the members of the Corporation.
The Symposium is our General Assembly Synod
The annual symposium shall be held each year on third Monday in January or some other day appointed by the vote of the congregation, at such time and place as shall be fixed by the Synod. The purpose of the annual meeting shall be to elect officers and trustees, elect members of the nominating committee, adopt the budget for the following fiscal year and to hear officers’, ministers’ and committees’ reports.
Adoption of the last symposium agenda
The agenda for the Annual Symposium shall include the adoption of an annual budget
Special Symposium may be called by the Board or by the receipt of a written petition requesting such a meeting signed by at least fifteen percent (15%) of all voting members. The Secretary of the Board shall call such a meeting. A call for a
Special Symposium, either by the Board or by petition, shall state the purpose of the meeting. No other business may be transacted at such a meeting.
Special Symposium of the corporation may be called by the Synod. If a written request to the Synod by any fifty percent (50%) Bishops of the Executive Board of Elders for a special Symposium, if denied by the Synod, said meeting may be called by those fifty percent (50%) Bishop members
Special Symposium may be called by the Archbishop and/or the Secretary Chief Executive
FULL COUNCIL OF ELDERS REFERRING TO A SYNOD
All of the ministers at EMMI comprise the Full Synod, which meets annually. The Full Council approves the slate of nominees for the Board of Advisors & Accountability and changes to the doctrinal statement. Ordinary or regular Synods are for Bishop. Any members qualified for a regular Synod Members can be part, even if they are not bishop themselves affiliated Organisations or groups
Voluntary organizations of Association members, designed to further the interests of the fellowship, may be formed with the consent of the Executive Elders Board. Such groups shall be regarded as integral parts of the fellowship.
The Executive Elders Board may appoint a liaison to the affiliated group (from Synod) for the purposes of information and communication and the religious aspect. The affiliated groups may use the facilities of the fellowship, under the supervision of the Synod. Each affiliated group shall submit a written annual report of its activities to the Executive Elders Board, and shall submit their records, books of account, and vouchers to the Synod upon request.

The EMMI African Association of Churches is a union of religious Christian communities, and is open only to Churches and Para-Churches Corporation NGO’s, individual members within the Corporations. The Religious Corporation that are members are African only, any other need to request membership to the EMMI Interdenominational Assembly of Churches (IAoC) here www.facebook.com/groups/emmiiaoc
The agreement of the association between different Christian denominations, individuals and between the Ecumenical Association IAoC recognizes the membership and independence of the others and maintains its own. Each Christian domination agrees to admit members of the other communities to participate in the sacraments. Meaning a clergy person from a denomination ordination is valid accross all our denominations. Exeception to this rules in celebrating sacraments the member theology and believe MUST be the same as the denomination who the member want to serve.
Example: A Christian Catholic or a Bible Baptist cannot be part of a Pentecostal or Methodist as a sacrement celebrant if he/she doesn’t have the same believe, but the member can be full part of the worship celebration but need to abstein taking part of communion, onless that organisation serve an open communion.
The association IAoC of Christian Corporation require from any member the acceptance of all Rules, Constitutions, and Statutes, or Doctrinal opinion, Sacramental devotion, or liturgical practice characteristic to the others, but implies that each believe the others to hold all essential elements of the Christian Faith.
We duly authorise representatives of our respective corporations, as a sign of recognition that we are in mutual spiritual kinship and support within our denominations, and Christian Church.
Do hereby; Agree to this agreement of the IAoC association, to be valid from the day when all parties in the partnership have been accepted as an Affiliate or Associated placed upon aceptence as a member of IAoC.
All member are Class “A” according to the corporation constitution in Canada with all the privileges of membership and the due fees are paid.
All member are Class “B” according to the corporation constitution in Canada with limited privileges of membership and the due fees are at no charge.

The formal acceptance of a clergyman from another ecclesiastical jurisdiction to Eric Michel Ministries International

It’s essentially the act of being “hinged” to that particular diocese, meaning the cleric is officially under the authority of the bishop of that diocese. The term comes from the Latin “incardinare,” meaning “to hang on a hinge” or “to fix”.

Excardination:
Before incardination, a cleric might need to be excardinated (released) from their previous diocese, we need a letter stating that you are released by your immediate superior,the person that you are working for.
Permanent Assignment:
Incardination signifies a permanent, not temporary, assignment of the cleric to the new ecclesiastical jurisdiction Eric Michel Ministries International.
Canon Law:
This process is governed by canon law, which outlines the procedures and requirements for a cleric to be incardinated into a new ecclesiastical jurisdiction Eric Michel Ministries International, according to Canon Law.
Bishop’s Role:
The bishop of the ecclesiastical jurisdiction Eric Michel Ministries Internationa,l where the cleric is being incardinated plays a crucial role, giving testimony about the cleric’s suitability and granting acceptance.
Purpose:
The purpose of incardination is to ensure a stable and accountable relationship between the cleric and the new ecclesiastical jurisdiction.
What is the meaning of the words “incardination” and “excardination?”
First of all, it is important to understand that before a deacon or a priest can be incardinated, he must be formally attached to a certain ecclesiastical jurisdiction. . The attachment to a ecclesiastical jurisdiction is called the “incardination.” When a priest obtains permission to transfer to another ecclesiastical jurisdiction, the following takes place:
a. The bishop in the new ecclesiastical jurisdiction must accept the priest or deacon, such being called the “incardination.”
b. The bishop from the present ecclesiastical jurisdiction releases the priest to the new ecclesiastical jurisdiction, such being called the “excardination.”

THE ENROLLMENT, OR INCARDINATION, OF CLERICS
Can INC01. A cleric who has legitimately moved from his own particular church to another is incardinated in the latter particular church by the law itself after five months if he has made such a desire known in writing both to the bishop of the host ecclesiastical jurisdiction Eric Michel Ministries International and to his own bishop and neither of them has expressed opposition in writing to him within five months of receiving the letter.
Can INC02 A diocesan bishop is not to allow the incardination of a cleric unless:
1/ the necessity or advantage of his own particular church demands it;
2/ he knows by a lawful document that excardination has been granted,

Can INC09 upon completion of the above application, candidates will meet with the Bishop to be examined in written form concerning the one or all of the following areas: 1) Catholic Theology, 2) Sacramental Theology, 3) EMMI History, 4) Spirituality and 5) Liturgy.
Can INC10 Upon acceptance by the Metropolitan Archbishop, the newly-Incardinated priest or deacon, must make a public promise of obedience to the Prelate.
Can INC11 Aside from the social teachings, clerics may not publicly voice or advocate any political ideology contrary to the Gospel and Apostolic tradition and EMMI Bylaws.
Can INC12 candidates for Holy Orders must worship at a local church using the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) as well for any liturgical ceremonies and rituals.
