Hidden in the silence of your day,
a Hail Mary rises…
soft as breath,
light as a falling petal.

And yet
Heaven receives it
as something more.

Like the little flowers gathered by Francis of Assisi,
No offering is too small
When it is given in love.

 Somewhere, others are praying too…
But you do not yet see the rose.
