Because of the space available in the living room when I turn it into a chapel, our vestry is a Wardrobe Cabinet, and our sacristy is a dresser.
At one point, I had a brilliant idea to bring it all into the vestry…

Since then, I have been fighting to get the door to close for at least 6 months, so today I decided to bring back my 12 clergy shirts, my mitres, and my pin case to my bedroom as well.

Especially since I ordered a blue chasuble, and it’s coming soon. I have had my cassock for a long time but never wear it because I am always in a Franciscan tunic, the black one, but a red cassock is on the way for liturgical ceremonies, formal church events, and major official gatherings.

The blue:
The universal Roman calendar commemorates 15 Marian feast days, but counting regional, national, and local apparitions (such as Our Lady of Guadalupe or Our Lady of Lourdes) brings the total to roughly 30 to 50+ celebrations throughout the liturgical year. So my unique white chasuble dedicated to Mary isn’t enough; if it is at the cleaner during a feast or another disaster, I will be SOL.
